A rich, rounded blend of triple-distilled malt & grain whiskies.

Black Bush contains a high proportion of triple-distilled single malt, aged in Oloroso sherry casks for around 8-10 years before marriage with the lighter grain whisky. 

Ageing takes place in carefully selected oak barrels for at least three years, sometimes even 15 years or more - these can be used sherry, port, madeira, bourbon even rum casks, all contribute their flavours. The master blenders select from this broad palette using combining malt and grain whiskies according to the recipe.
