Port Charlotte combines the power of peat with the elegance, complexity and floral top notes for which the Bruichladich stills are famous. Peated to a heavyweight 40ppm, Port Charlotte represents their exploration into the legacy of the great Lochindaal distillery, now silent. Operating for 100 years between 1829 and 1929, Lochindaal was renowned for its strongly peated malts. Trickle distilled in their cathedral-like still house at Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte is then matured in the original old stone warehouses in Port Charlotte.
