- Tasting - This Niepoort Tawny Port is aged in small old oak casks (550 litre) for ten years, in the cellars at Vila Nova de Gaia, giving it that classic Tawny colour. This process is overseen by Niepoort’s master blender José Nogueira, who is also responsible for the skilful blending of the many different tawny ports that make up this 10 Year Old. Fresh bouquets, dried apricots, orange peel, gum cistus, nutty tones and honey.
