- Tasting Note - The new vintage of Graeme and Julie Bott’s Syrah is simply sensational. There is so much class, expression and succulence in this wine it is, frankly, unbelievable. Openly modelled on a Côte-Rôtie template but already drinking with sensational complexity and verve. Big damson-plum and sour-cherry aromas, plus some pepper and spice make this immediately appealing. Very appealing balance of bright fruit, a touch of supple tannin and lively acidity. Plenty of herbal and spicy notes at the surprisingly long finish.
