Burla Negra Rum
Burla Negra is made by selecting premium Caribbean rums and aging them for 24 spring tides in Albarino wine casks, in Galicia, Spain. After ageing a small amount of seawater is added to round out the flavours and create an intensely flavoured rum that replicates the rum that pirates used to drink. Named after a famous Spanish pirate ship, captained by the infamous and ruthless Benito Soto.
Intense flavours of orange peel, caramel and dried peaches with a hint of saline and a fine oak finish. Dark and sweet, tempered by the hint of salt. Perfect over ice with a twist of orange peel, also in classic cocktails such as an Old Fashioned.
