Batanga Reposado Tequila is an award-winning premium tequila made from 100% agave, crafted by Casa Orendain. Only the best agave is used with the piñas being traditionally baked in brick ovens for its unique flavour. Fermentation uses an original formula, passed down the generations for 80 years. Only pot stills with an internal coverage of copper in the coil are used in the process. For maturation only ex-Bourbon barrels are used. Rested for a minimum of 4 - 6 months which is double the minimum time required (2 months).
Light gold, clear. A fresh and vibrant nose of grass and pepper. Subtle oak plays a complimentary role on the palate which shows great refinement and integration with a crisp and flavoursome finish.
