- Tasting Note - A tasty slightly savoury nose, with scents of toast and fresh red fruits. Hints of peppermint with plum on the palate. A really umami wine with the salty, sharp tang of umeboshi (fermented) plums. Rustic tannins and a firm, full finish. Fermented with wild yeasts and no oak-ageing. Medium-bodied and elegant.
