- Tasting Notes - Fresh & fashionable, Alvarinho is the Portuguese cousin of the Spanish Abarinho grape. Commonly grown in the northwest of Portugal, this Lisbon example expresses the high-quality nature of the grape in a very approachable & extremely affordable style. Zesty with a bright citric colour and intense aromas of tropical fruits & apricot. It has a good structure which is balanced by an excellent acidity to give ripe white fruit, delicious length & a dry finish.
- Great with - Sushi, shellfish & white meats are good matches for this wine. A great summer wine that is as good by itself, as with a meal.
