- Tasting Note - Heartland Stickleback Red is made by renowned winemaker Ben Glaetzer in Langhorne Creek. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz with a touch of Lagrein. Rich and full with black fruits, spice and well rounded tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz give this wine a rich, savoury character and good structure. A splash of Lagrein contributes spice and tannin. The tightness and structure of the Lagrein, pulls the wine together and balances the sweeter spice.
