- Tasting Notes - Aromas of bramble fruits with warm spice. Bold, fruit driven - again ripe bramble fruits with spice and soft vanilla oak. Smooth well integrated tannins that hold the fruit flavours to a lovely long finish with plenty of depth and body. Small production of specially selected parcels from different vineyards. A small proportion of the wine is aged in oak barrels, adding depth and complexity. This is a classically, well balanced wine - bold and delicious without being heavy, it has all the depth, taste and flavour of a much higher priced wine. If you are a Chateauneuf-du-Pape fan, this is one to try. Punches way above its price point.
Great with - Beef stew, game, rabbit, mushroom Stroganoff with a chunk of crusty bread. Perfect for your Sunday Roast with all the trimmings.
