Jules Gautret white Pineau des Charentes is a sweet white fortified wine created from blending unfermented grape musts and juices with Cognac eau de vie (Spirit that with time would become cognac but for this, only has to be one year old) then ageing in Limousin oak barrels. Powerful and well-balanced, it is best enjoyed chilled as an aperitif, but is also excellent with desserts.
